This project aims to discover the extent to which aesthetic theory can be applied in the creation of a visual style to create appeal.
Objectives (open to change as project develops)
1.0 Define aesthetic theory and how this can be applied to create visual appeal. Establishing a criteria for determining the quality of work in this field.
2.0 Critically analyse the visual styles of existing works to determine how they are applicable to this theory, if at all.
3.0 Create practice based research in order to verify the relevance of previously stated criteria. Analyse the outcome of these experiments through observational notes.
4.0 Applying the knowledge gained, [create/develop] a visual style that takes aesthetic theory into consideration in order to generate appeal.
