I was not disappointed. It does appear to have taken heavy influences from Team Fortress 2 for the visual style and characters. However I feel it is still an amazing piece of animation and shows the true potential this visual style has for animation instead of exclusively games.

Lo and behold; a cel shaded animation!
In my earlier post I asked the question if any cel shaded animations existed, as it was something I though had the potential to look great but had never seen. I later received a comment on the post linking me to Mac 'n' Cheese, a student animated short. (Thanks to David McGill for the link.)

i feel special now, im pretty sure i have seen others but cant mind their names... does it have to be cel shaded or just a different style to pixar/disney and ultrarealistic shizz yeah?
