Facially:
Eyebrows only appear on occasion and are used to convey emotion.
Pixar
Bright Colours (somewhat true to life) - 3D - Exaggerated proportions - Angular facial structure - High detail - Realistic backgrounds (in content)
2D - Pastel colours - Watercolour style backgrounds - softer outlines on characters (not black) - Often smaller noses/ bigger eyes - More exaggerated wrinkles on elderly - Characters contain layer of shading (distinct change, not faded)
